A Social Studies teacher before becoming the HFT First Vice President, Corey taught at Bulkeley High School.  He has taught in Hartford since 2005.  He has taught alternative, advanced, and typical settings.   He is active in the school community, assuming such leadership roles as Graduation Coordinator, Lead Teacher, and Director of Extracurricular Activities.  Corey lived in the city of Hartford for 7 years
