Jessie Rosario is currently working as a Certified Reading Specialist at Weaver High School. She has been employed by Hartford Public Schools since 2016.  Prior to arriving in Harford she was an elementary school teacher in a suburban district in Connecticut where she spent nine years.  She enjoyed her time working out of town, however the allure of serving the youth in her hometown was ultimately her passion.  Jessie was born and raised in Hartford and is a graduate of Bulkeley High School (Hartford, CT).  Jessie earned her B.A. in Communications in 2000 and completed the teaching certification program at Central Connecticut State University in 2004. In 2013, she earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Connecticut. She currently resides in Tolland with her husband and two children. Jessie enjoys reading, spending time with family and exercising.
