Melissa Yennie is in her 10th year as a Hartford Teacher and currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Classical Magnet School. Melissa has had the opportunity to teach health and Physical education at all levels, PK-12. She has taught Betances Early Reading Lab (2010), Annie Fisher Montessori (2010), Expeditionary Learning Academy at Moylan School (2011-2016), and Classical Magnet School (2017-present). She earned her BS., ED.  in Physical Education with a cross-endorsement in health and a minor in Psychology, Masters in Educational Leadership, and currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership all at CCSU. Melissa attended Hartford Public Schools for her K-12 education and lives in the City of Hartford.
