“Any member who lives in the City of Hartford shall be eligible for a 3% differential based on his/her base salary.” To obtain this residency differential the member must provide documented evidence that Hartford is their primary residence. This can be a utility bill, car insurance, lease, property tax bill, voter registration card, or driver’s license. It takes 30 days to process the differential, so it should be submitted by early August. Complete the Hartford Residency Differential form, attach three documents, and email to Cherice McNeil.
